Classroom Etiquette
Lesson Cancellation
The student may cancel their lesson 24 hours prior to the start time. The cancelled lesson will then be rescheduled at a date and time which suits both the teacher and the student, at no extra cost.
Lateness of Student
A 15-MINUTE grace period is set in place for student lateness. If the student does not show after this grace period and does not provide the teacher with any prior warning, the teacher has the right to cancel the scheduled lesson. This lesson will then automatically be considered as completed and will still be charged.
Student Absence
If the student is absent without prior notice, and the 15-minute grace period has expired, the lesson will be viewed as a completed lesson, which will still be charged.
However, if the student has given prior notice to their absence, they will have the right to reschedule the missed lesson at a date and time that suits both the student and the teacher.
Teacher Absence
If for any reason the teacher is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, they will endeavour to notify the student. The student will then have the right to reschedule the lesson, at a date and time that suits both parties, at no extra cost.
However, if for any reason the teacher is unable to notify the student of their absence and the grace period (which also applies to the teacher) has expired, the student has the right to cancel the lesson. The student will then be able to reschedule the lesson at a date and time that suits both parties, with no extra cost. The teacher will also offer an extra lesson free, as a good-will gesture.
